The luncheon plates measure 7-1/8 inches in diameter. The sugar bowl measures 4-1/4 inches tall to the top of the rose finial, is 2-3/8 inches tall to the rim, and is 3-7/8 inches in diameter at the opening. The creamer measures 4-1/2 inches tall to the top of the handle, and is 4-3/4 inches from handle to spout. The pot measures 9 inches tall to the top of the rose bud finial, 7-1/8 inches tall to the rim, and is 7 inches from handle to spout.
The decoration is a rich purple red, and I think the pattern is Indian Paint. All pieces are marked with the crossed swords and are hand numbered in red. The tea cup has a dot below the crossed swords, all the way across the bottom. The saucer has more of a line beneath the crossed swords that again is all the way across. I do not know enough about Meissen marks to date the set.
