19th Century (About 1840-60s) Vieux Paris Or Old Paris Porcelain Hand enameled floral small teapot, sugar, creamer, 2 teacups and saucers, 11 tray. Outside of loss of the gold accents and browning/hairline on the tray the rest is in Very Good antique condition.

Lovely hand painted floral details. I have more photos if desired just ask. Unmarked as most of this was.

There are some numbers inscribed under the glaze on the bottom of some of the pieces. Old Paris porcelain or as the French say Vieux Paris was produced from the late 1700s to 1870s.

In the later time it was often referred to as Paste porcelain. It was highly desirable and made by many factories in Paris to compete with Limoges and Sevres.

All hand decorated many artisans used Blanks made by other companies and only did the decorating. Most of these pieces were not signed.

It was very exported to the US in large quantities and is very popular in the South. Lovely, graceful, highly decorated style for your home or collection.
