Beyer&Bock, antique porcelain tea set for two, Thuringia, Germany, 20th century
Lovely tea set of white porcelain with gilding decoration in minimalistic style. The set inclused tray, teapot, sugar bowl and 2 tea duos (pairs) of cups and saucers. Ferdinand Beyer and Theodor Bock had a painting atelier in Volkstedt since 1853 and starting from 1893 they begun to make porcelain items. Comapny's high-quality items were exported to Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Italy, England, the USA, Canada, Latin America. In 1960 Beyer&Bock family business was nationalized. Excellent condition, with some traces of age and usage.
