C1885 2614 IMARI Davenport TEA SET & TRAY Teapot Creamer Sugar Hammersley Derby. MAKER: Teapot, Creamer & Sugar are all marked with Davenport Red Crown mark overglaze c. Tray is marked "H&CO" impressed with a crown which was one of Hammersley's earliest mark. It's possible the tray was made later to match the tea set as Davenport went out of business in 1886 and Hammersley opened their doors in 1887. PIECE NAME: Tea Set on Handled Tray.

TEAPOT DIMENSIONS: 8 3/4" handle to spout; 4 3/8" to top of handle. SUGAR BOWL DIMENSIONS: 6" handle to handle; 3 1/2" to top of handle. CREAMER DIMENSIONS: 5" handle to spout; 3 1/2" to top of handle. TRAY DIMENSIONS: 18 1/2" by 12 3/8" and 1 1/4 high. CONDITION: Tray has some very light surface wear but is otherwise immaculate.

Teapot looks great but has some crazing and two large chips (photo 8) to the inside rim which leads to a short hairline. Sugar bowl has crazing and light staining with a hairline to the inside edge (photo 9). This is a gorgeous set!
