Lovely Herend tea set for two people in the Chinese Bouquet / Apponyi pattern. The colour is rust, also known as Orange Gold. The Chinese Bouquet pattern is based on the original Indian Basket pattern.

White ground, with a rust motif of peony surrounded by leaves. Rims have a stylised garland of leaves broken by gilded rosettes. The teapot has a rose knop.

1 750ml Teapot 5½ tall (14cm). 1 Leaf Form Sugar Bowl 1¼ deep (3cm). 1 Creamer 2½ tall (5cm).

1 Ribbon Tray 16" x 11" (40cm x 28cm). 2 Tea Cups 2" tall, 3½" diameter (5cm x 9cm). 2 Tea Saucers 5½ diameter (14cm).

Blue Herend marks to bases. Condition: In very good condition.

Small chip to rose knop on teapot, hardly visible. No further chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Minor marks to the base of the tray, from standing on a surface.
