We are offering for your consideration. Ary soft paste porcelain tea set dating from 1840. Included are a teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, large bowl, and serving plate. Measurements: Teapot , 10" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle, 6 1'2" width, 6 1/2 height. Sugar bowl, 7 1/2 from handle to handle, 5 1/4 height.

Creamer , 6" tip of spout to end of the handle, 4 1/2" width, 4 1/4" height Large bowl , 7 1/4" diameter, 3 1/4 height. Plate , 9 3/4" handles included x 9 1/8" In very good condition, with a only few issues. No crazing on any of the pieces. There is a crack where the handle joins the top of the teapot. Appears to have an old repair or possibly a reinforcement added next to the crack.

One of the prongs on the inside of the lid is missing and there are a few minor chips next to it. The bowl has a very fine 1 hairline crack at the top. Some mostly minor wear to the gold on the teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, and plate. The large bowl has more gold loss, which can be seen in the enclosed photo.

There is also some loss of blue on the plate. Regardless of these issues, this is an incredible, quite beautiful. And a very rare tea set.
