Magnificent German Sterling Silver Overlay Porcelain Tea Set Art Deco Design

Here we have this breathtaking antique German porcelain tea set with heavy sterling silver overlay in a Art Deco style. We have had it in our own collection for many years. The lids to the teapot and sugar bowl are marked 800 and with German hallmarks. The base of tray is hallmark with the number 24 and an additional incised German mark. It is in beautiful condition considering age with only minor wear.

There is a underglaze oval mark on inside of teapot, see photograph. There are some very minor abrasions to surface of porcelain and Silver deposit.

As you can see by photographs this set is a true treasure. We highly encourage you to ask any additional questions or for more photographs as this is a final sale no return set. Tray is in clover shape and is over 10 1/2 inches across at largest point. Teapot is just over 5 1/2 inches tall to tip of lid finial. Teapot is approximately 5 1/4 inches across from outside of spout to back of handle, largest size. Cups Are in Demi size. Saucers are approximately three and three-quarter inches across at top.
