NIPPON Pedestal DOW SIE COT URE Cobalt Blue & Gold Egg Shell Porcelain Tea Set

This listing is for a cobalt blue and gold tea set for 6 with extensive hand painting. It is also jeweled with light enamel work. The porcelain is paper thin egg shell porcelain. This antique tea set was made in Japan the 1800's. It is early Nipon marked Dow Sie Cot Ure NPSK. Included in this listing are 6 cup & saucer sets a creamer and a sugar bowl with its lid. There are some nicks, and two saucers have a small chip.

There are no repairs and there is no staining. The largest nick/chips are pictured. This set is not perfect but it is beautiful especially for its age and the very fragile nature of the cups. If you need more photos please feel free to contact me.

The 6 saucers are each 5-1/2 in diameter. There are two with small chips. The 6 pedestal cups are each 2-1/2 tall. 4 have very hard to see cracks. And there are a few nicks.

The pedestal sugar bowl is 4-1/2" tall and 4-3/4" in diameter. The pedestal creamer is 4" tall and about 4-3/4" wide including the spout and handle. It holds 6 ounces if filled to the top.
