Japanese Nippon Porcelain Geisha Lithophane 27 pcs Tea Set 1930s-50s Complete BIN. 4 of the cups have hairline cracks. All pieces have some degree of gold gilt loss on the edges or handles. Scratches to the gold gilt finish. Some scratches to the handpainted scenes.

Landscape handpainted decoration with Geisha and gold accents. Teacup handles have a bamboo shape. Please note that the porcelain body of the cups are extremely thin and fragile. Marked in Japanese characters NIPPON. No specific maker or factory mark found.

Complete set with Teapot, creamer, sugar holder, 12 saucers and 12 cups. To avoid damaging the collection - Pieces have not been cleaned or washed.

Thus pieces will arrive with some degree of dust or soiling from storage, age and years of display. Only the cups have the lithophane effect on the bottom. All pieces are of the same design.
