Rare Antique Kangxi Ca 1680-1700 Chinese Porcelain Tea Set'Master of the Rocks

Lovely thinly potted antique Chinese porcelain saucer and cup with a central decoration of a person on horseback next to a tree with a bird in it, executed in a charming underglaze blue. In the border a decoration of patterns identical to those in the center, surrounded by a rim with pine trees and blurry dots. The cup has horse riders, rocks and trees. The mountains are executed in the "Master of the Rocks" style. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, early Kangxi period ca. On the back side a decoration of sprays of bamboo, and the quite rare Mei Yu Ya Zhi mark (beautiful jade refined vessel). Pictured in: Chinese porcelain from the wanli to kangxi period, Feng Chun Ma, page 124-125. Overall Condition saucer 1 line and some smallfrits/chips. Cup Restored part, line and some frits small chips. Size saucer 99x17mm Cup 60x35mm.
