This is a beautiful and timeless. Coffee/Tea Set with Dessert Plates. The set is made by Royal Albion in England.
It is similar to Royal Albert Heirloom Patterns. The pattern is a lovely cobalt blue, rust and ivory Imari style pattern with a gold hand painted trim. Only one plate has old Royal Albion mark.
All the other pieces are marked with numbers or unmarked. The rims of this pattern are surrounded in Imari style flowers. Gold scrolls in classic cobalt blue, rusty orange, with bands of gold. 8 (eight) Coffee/Tea Cups - 3 1/4" in diameter at the rim and 2 3/4" tall. 8 (eight) Saucers for the cups- 5 1/2 in diameter.Dessert plates - 6 3/4 in diameter. 1 (one) Open Sugar Bowl - 4 7/8" in diameter and 2 3/4" tall. 3 7/8 tall to the tip of the spout. Serving/Snack plate - 8 3/8 in diameter. This set is very rare and just beautiful. The set will make a wonderful gift or will be a great addition to any vintage china collection. It is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. There could be some minor. Wear on the gold and paint loss. Please refer to the pictures or ask questions.
