Russian Porcelain Cobalt Net Lomonosov Medium Teapot Gold. During the time of the Czars, the lomonosov porcelain factory was known as the imperial porcelain factory. The factory was established in 1744 and marked the beginning of porcelain production in Russia. The cobalt net pattern is derived from the dinnerware the factory produced for Catherine the great.
The cobalt blue and gold decor was hand applied. The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful. The teapot measures approx 8 inches wide x 5 inches. This piece is in pristine condition and does not have any chips or cracks. We are Gannon's Antiques and Art in Fort Myers, Florida.
