Vintage 50's, Windermere by Wedgwood Coffee Pot, Creamer and Lidded Sugar Bowl
Vintage 50's, "Windermere" by Wedgwood Coffee Pot, Creamer and Lidded Sugar Bowl. All the pieces are marked on the reverse along with the registered No. Pattern name, Made in England. The set is almost 70 years old and for its age, it is in lovely shape. I did not see any cracks, chips, crazing on any of the pieces. The only issue I found was on the coffee pot and it has a few black dots in the glaze which are mainly found on either the front or back depending on how you look at it. Please see the photo as I tried to capture the spots as best possible.
A few light spots on the rim of the coffee pot that are a bit darker but the inside is nice and clean. The coffee pot is quite large and holds about 4 cups. Measures with the lid on about 9" Tall by 8" from the sprout to the handle. The creamer measures about 4 to the tip of the sprout and the tip of the handle. The middle is lower and measures about 3 Tall.
The lidded sugar bowl measures about 4 1/2" tall with the lid on by about 5" from one handle to the other. A lovely set that is both useful and also makes a lovely display set. Most of my items are vintage in nature and I have had for years. I describe my items the best I can based on my ability.
